Volunteer with the USANA True Health Foundation
You know that warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you watch little kids open presents on Christmas morning?
Now you can experience that feeling again.
It’s time to roll your sleeves up and show how you can be #USANAUnited. This year during our 2015 International Convention in Salt Lake City, USANA will be teaming up with the Children’s Hunger Fund to pack meals for families and children desperately in need around the world.
This is your chance to give the gift of a meal.
How It Works
The USANA True Health Foundation will have a booth set up at the Salt Palace for the project. Helping is super easy. An organized conveyor belt will be assembled and you’ll have the chance to pack meals in boxes that will then be delivered to families in need.
All you have to do is show up.
We will be packing a total of 3,125 boxes. That’s 3,125 families who will have nutritious meals to feed their children.
Each box contains 10–12 different food items such as beans, rice, pasta, canned meat, and other dried goods. With one box, approximately 48 meals can be prepared. This is enough food to feed a family for an average of five days.
Packed with Love
Not only will you have a chance to help pack meals for those in need, but it also gets more personal. With each box you pack, you have the chance to sign your name or even write a little personalized message on a sticker that will be sealed inside the box.
It’s one more way to show how you care.
“The thing I am most excited about with this project, is to see volunteers as they feel a personal connection,” says Jim Bramble, board member and executive of the Foundation.
“It’s one thing to donate money, but it’s more important to give of your time—that’s when it becomes more meaningful. And to watch Associates take this positive experience back and share it with their teams, and as their teams share it with others, it’s not just affecting them, but spreading good on a large-scale level. We’re all taking steps to end poverty around the world.”

Providing meals for hungry children doesn’t have to end with our food pack drive—there are other ways you can help all year round.
The USANA True Health Foundation provides critical nutrition to those who are suffering or in need, and you can take action by donating through your Auto Order or by making a direct donation through the USANA website using the link to the Shopping Cart.
“The True Health Foundation means so much to me personally,” says Jim. “I know the facts, I know how many dollars are donated, and how many hungry children are being fed. I’ve gone to Africa and Thailand and have seen firsthand what it feels like to deliver the donated food to hungry children. To help a little girl wearing a dress made out of paper while we have so much back home, it’s something you never forget.”
