Medical brigades in Guatemala

by Brittney Howell

Our local partners in Guatemala have been continuing their efforts with medical brigades. Recently, they targeted the municipality of Coatepeque, which is 235 kilometers from Guatemala City. Because their efforts in that area are ongoing, the vision is to continue to provide medical assistance and follow up with as many individuals as possible.

The team serves approximately 1,000 patients per month with resources received through your generous donations.  Just as is in Coatepeque, the team continues to follow up with the many children and adults they serve in Jalapa, a small village of Pito. More than 450 people were individually seen by doctors who generously give of their time for the good of others.

In addition to giving away Usanimals™, food was provided for 500 children that live in that community.

We are so grateful for YOUR support, through which we are able to make such a big difference in the lives of people across the world.

Remember, 100 percent of all donations made to the USANA True Health Foundation ALWAYS go toward changing lives across the world.
